Dear guests of Tuva Republic! We invite you to day-excursions in the capital city Kyzyl and its surroundings, to healing mineral springs and salt lakes. 

You can book a choosen excursion sending an email info@sayanring.com, visiting our office in Krasnoyarsk, applying our staff at the yurt camp Biy-Khem (22 km far from Kyzyl).

All prices are given in euro (€), per 1 person and valid till 01.10.2020.

Duration: 3 hours, season: all year around

Kyzyl is located in the place of confluence of the rivers Biy-Khem (Big Yenisei) and Kaa-Khem (Small Yenisei), which forms the famous Yenisei (Ulug-Khem). Kyzyl was founded by tsar’s government in 1914. Nowadays Kyzyl is a cosy town, buried in verdure, the main sights are the monument Geographical Centre of Asia. During the excursion to the city you visit a Buddhist temple, shaman clinic and pray drum, gift shops.

Kyzyl walking tour and excursion in the National Museum

Duration: 4 hours, season: all year around, exc. Mondays and Tuesdays (days-off in the museum)

You will have a captivating walk along Yenissey river bank, see the main city sights and visit the National museum of Tuva. The pearl of the museum's collection is of course objects from the burial mound Arzhaan-2. The excavations of this burial mound were carried out in 2000-2003 by the specialists of the Hermitage and the German archaeological institute. These archaeological findings (more than 20 kg of golden objects) became a real sensation in archaeological world. In 2008 the famous Scythian gold was returned to Tuva from European exhibitions. To protect the collection of the museum the special equipment was bought for the exhibition hall.

City tour around Kyzyl and to a mineral spring

Duration: 5 hours, season: all year around

After the city tour you will go the countryside to a mineral healing spring Churek Dorgun, where the guide will tell you about the benefits of the spring, you will visit the cave and walk around. Most people come here to treat cardiovascular disease, hypertension, headache.

During the rest there a picnic will be organized.

Excursion Scythian Gold

Duration: 6 hours, season: all year around, exc. Mondays and Tuesdays (days off in the museum). Distance: 100 km far from Kyzyl one way

Tour to the Valley of Kings and burial mound Arzhaan-2 which excavation was begun in 2001 by archeological expedition from St.-Petersburg together with the German archeologists, the burial mound is dated 6 century B.C. Not plundered tomb of "tsar" and "tsarina" in which a plenty of gold products have been found, gross weight about 20 kg is found out. The found things testify about blossoming Scythian culture. In 2008 famous "Scythian gold" was returned to Tuva from European exhibitions. To protect the collection of the National museum the special equipment was bought for the exhibition hall that you will visit. Excursion in the National museum in Kyzyl to see the Gold with your own eyes.

Esoteric excursion to a shaman society

Duration: 2 hours, season: all year around.

The Shamanism and the Buddhism were born long time ago, since that ancient time the original culture of the Tuva ethnos has been developing. During this excursion you will visit a shaman clinic, meet the shamans, will be shortly introduced to their rituals and rites. Shamans are very specific people and will not be abstract during kamlaniye, without any specific purpose will not disturb the spirits. During a visit to the clinic some individual appointments can be held (extra paid).

Trip to Svatikovo lake

Duration: 6 hours, season: June-August. Distance: 70 km far from Kyzyl one way

The group travels to the lake Dus-khol (Svatikovo). Healing features of this lake are much stronger then features of The Dead Sea. It is very hard to dive in the lake because there is too much salt in it. And there is another amazing quality of the lake the temperature of the bottom is about 16°С higher than in the top. Swimming and sunbathing. Picnic on the bank of the lake. Walking, swimming in the lake, taking mineral mud’s baths.

Tour to Syn-Churek and Khayrakan mounts

Duration: 8 hours, season: all year around. Distance: 200 km far from Kyzyl one way

Native people call Syn-Churek mount “The heart of Maral”. It's famous for its unusual form and also ancient petroglyphs of different epochs, beginning of the epoch of bronze. The rock drawings take special place among the huge variety of national richness of Tuva. More than 300 rock drawings of animals and hunting scenes attract tourist’s attention.

Khayrakan mount is one of the saint and respected places in Tuva. In 1992 it was chosen as the energetically strong place and was sanctified by the Dalay Lama the 14 ^th. Once a year the local shamans come to this place to revive, to strengthen and to clean their spirit.
