Within days of environment protection an action of cleaning up the bay Sarayskiy on Olkhon island was held. More than 200 teenagers from the camp "Commonwealth” and  foreign volunteers took part on the action of garbage collection, organized by Russian Union of Youth and developer of the program "Clean Baikal".
Rubbish is removed in the forest and on the Baikal banks from Khuzhir to Kharantsy village. Two dozen volunteers from nine countries, including Morocco and Australia, participated in cleaning the beach at the foot of the Shaman rock
Ecological Project "Pure shores of Baikal Lake" is being implemented in the waters of the Strait of Small Sea since 2007.
