The regatta of cruiser yachts "Chivyrkuy-2009" started on 16th  of Augus in Zagli bay, Olkhon island - Baikal lake. It is the fisrt competition after a long break since 1995.

The regatta is to last for three days. The route goes through Maloe sea to the north-east of Baikal to Chivyrkuy bay.
