The special economic zone is ready for taking tourists. All arrangements and planting of greenery are finished, the beach and sport grounds are prepared. On the 5^th June 2009 there was an official start of the tourist season in "Biryuzovaya Katun" in Alati region.

The general manager of "Biryuzovaya Katun" A. Bens told that the bridge over Katun river deservers special attention. It was recently reconstructed. He also mentioned that rest in the zone is still democratic and available for the Altai region people. The prices were not risen this year. Alongside with familiar side-show on the lake shore, there will also be animators organizing contests, games and competitions. There are also special programs for small children.

Medical workers, rescuers and guard are responsible for safety and health. There is a 24 hour video watch on the territory of the beach.

The quality and ecology management system of international standard ISO: 9001/ ISO: 14001 is being realized in order to improve service and to preserve unique nature of "Biryuzovaya Katun".
