The interregional social organization "The Big Baikalskaya path" plans to hold 16 traditional and 4 special projects of cleaning tourist paths and routes on Baikal in 2009. This was announced today by the coordinator of the projects Natalya Luzhkova. Volunteers were sending application forms from February to May. Totally there are 110 orders from the Russians and 110 from foreigners - people from Germany, England and the USA. About 200-300 volunteers will take part in summer projects in 2009.

More than 3000 people from different countries took part in the projects during the whole period of the organization's existence. 120 projects were successfully realized during the 6 years of work.
