In Moscow an installation of exposition “Tuvinian Republic – everything for common victory!”, will be open 4 May in Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War on in Poklonnaya Gora (Bow-down Hill). To the place of exhibition very rare documents from archives, photos, ancient articles of everyday life of nomads are brought from Tuva.

The chairman of Tuva Republic Sholban Kara-ool underlines, that it is a very important and symbolic event for the Republic. It provides people with a possibility to give a historically-objective evaluation to the participation of Tuva in the war.

It’s necessary to say that Tuvinian Republic became the first foreign state, which struggled against Nazi Germany up to the end of war.

The Tuvinians sent to a battlefront the last they had, namely, 5 carriages of food and warm clothes, 50 000 horses, 1,700 million heads of cattle and, finally, money.

The exhibition will work up to the end of 2010. It is supposed that students, especially of historical faculties, will be volunteers of the event, as only people of Tuva Republic can provide the visitors of museum with reliable and genuine information about life of the republic.
