Krasnoyarsk region celebrated its 75-th anniversary. It was formed on the 7-th of December 1934 by the resolution of the Soviet government due to the subdivision of East Siberian krai.

Presentation of investment projects, grnad opening of an exhibtion, a theatre perfomance and a concert of legendary Dmitriy Khvorostovsky became the main events dedicated to the celebration.

Krasnoyarsk region is situated in the Eastern part of Siberia in watershed of the Yenisei river. Its territory is 2500 thousand square kms (14% of the whole territory of Russia), and number of population is 3 million people (only 2% of Russian population).It borders Khakassia, Tuva, Yakutia, Irkutsk other regions.

The geographical center of Russian Federation is situated in Krasnoyarsk region on Vivi lake in Evenkia.
