A famous traveller Fyodor Konyuokhov is getting ready for the expedition to Altai Region according to which he is planning to make a guide around Altai and write a book about the region. He saw the tourist potential of the region at the exhibition “Intourmarket – 2010”. The traveller intends to undertake a rafting trip along the river Katun, 10 day long trip on camels, ascending the most complicated peaks of Altai Mountains and to create the collection of photos and a documentary film. Judging by the words of Fyodor Konyuokhov he is planning to spend about three months for the expedition in the region.
